On the other hand, IMHO, a defect (non-euphemistic way of saying bug) that allows a product's security to be completely compromised, rendering it unsuitable to be placed on a network to fulfill the functions it was intended for without risking the computer and network resources on which it is installed and thus becoming a threat to the entire Internet community at large, should be available to all purchasers of said product. Doing otherwise is just plain irresponsible.
