How many Private SQL Areas....

Can someone clarify this for me please.

Oracle Manual says:
>Be sure that your application can open enough Private SQL areas to
 accommodate
>all your SQL statements.

-How many Private SQL Areas can a session open? -Does it depend on the combination of
Open Cursors parameter and Shared Pool size for MTS and Open Cursors and OS memory limits for Dedicated Server (as the Private SQL Area will be in PGA)

Am I not talking the right language here?

Thanks in advance Received on Tue Jul 10 2001 - 17:11:38 CDT
