dear all,

Here is my question:

when i study the topc Maintaining constraints in the oracle book , i found these two statements in Enable Validate Constraints sections,

  1. If executed when the constraint is disabled, ......
  2. If executed when the constraint is enforced, .......

i am not very sure what is the meaning of "when the constraint is enforced", does it mean the constraint has been enabled or something else?
