Hi,



I installed a new server with Oracle 8.1.7. The oradim needs about 4
minutes. I find that's not normal!



The server: HP Vectra PIII 1GH, 512 MB Ram, NT4 SP6



Are there any known problems with NT Software Raid, HP Tools or Adaptec
Direct CD (installed from customer, not my idea)???
The oracle installation is on d:, with a span over two harddisks.



Some select return other results as on an other server with same db
(exp/imp).



Any ideas?
