Re: Errors while patching 8.1.7.0.0 EE on Solaris x86

I don't know what patch you are applying but I know they released two versions of 8.1.7.1 - make sure you are using the 'b' release.

Also, if you have /usr/ucb in your PATH, make sure it is after /usr/ccs/bin.
