How about not switching on that sort of auditing (which will cripple performance on the entire database, and in any event doesn't tell you preciely *what* the Users updated or deleted), and instead get into the habit of analyzing your redo logs with the log miner packages?

Shows you exactly what a user did, when they did it, and even what SQL you'd have to issue to reverse the awfulness of what they did.

Best of all, it's entirely free. Provided you are running 8.1.x, of course.
