Yes, it was the version 8i

The exactly problem that I have, is while starting the setup.exe nothing happends.
Windows will come up with the nice waiting cursor for 2 seconds and after this reaction everythink come back normal, no setup program started, nothing in taskmanager, realy nothing...

I have 2 different machines :
A Dell Poweredge Server with 2 GB of RAM and 1 TB of Disc storage with Win2000 Advanced Server.
 --> On this server everythink works fine. Another PC was a DELL Precision with 50GB of Disc and 256MB of RAM with the same operating system.
 --> While trying to install, nothing happends... ????

The 2 PC's have the same screensettings !

THe only difference between this 2 PC'S are disc storage and RAM ...

Well there is no such item as 8.0i. So do you have 8.0 or 8i?

But likely it is not a Java problem.

When you say "trouble" could you provide some details that might help someone help you?

Specific and complete error messages are very helpful.
