No experience with it yet ... I'm waiting for my CDs to arrive because the thought of downloading 1.3GB is more than I can handle.

Anyway I wonder if your problem may be configuration as you didn't note the swap space requirements. Did you set up your /etc/system file correctly? How about the environement variables in .profile?
