What 'silent mode' in SqlNet??

I use Version 7 ( and Version 8 ) with an 8.1.6 client with no problems.. ( accessing various Oracle RDBMSs 8.05, 8.1.5,8.1.6,8.1.7) Received on Thu Jun 07 2001 - 08:55:38 CDT
