Oracle 8.1.5 on Suse 7.1

I installed Oracle 8.1.5 without any problem on a Suse 7.1 ...
Then as usual i wrote my initXXX.ora file ...
I launch svrmgrl, I "connect internal", I try to "startup nomount 
pfile=initXXX.ora" and i get the following message = "ORA-03113 - End of 
file on communication channel".



Has somebody an idea how to resolve a such problem ??
