We are pretty slow over here in Norway...

If memory serves me right there were some speed problems when accessing views on 7.3, especially with outer joins. Setting a "PUSH_JOIN_PREDICATE" option made quite a difference for us. It could be set in the init.ora or with a:

ALTER SESSION SET PUSH_JOIN_PREDICATE = TRUE Probably just a shot in the dark though...
