This is the entire error stack:
ERROR:
ORA-56192: Message 56192 not found; product=RDBMS; facility=ORA
It's sometimes followed by SP2-0306 but that's only because when the connection fails, sqlplus tries to read the next line in the SQL script as a connect string and it's usually a SELECT or SET command.
The platform is Oracle 8.1.6 on Irix64 6.5.10. I also have Oracle 7.3.4, and 8.1.5, and 8.1.6, running on Irix6 6.5.8 and 6.5.10. The only platform combination that I can produce the error on is 8.1.6 running on 6.5.10.
