Oracle over striped volumes

Hello,

i have iplemented a Oracle Database onto diffrent LSM Volumes (6). These volumes are all striped over the *same* four disks !

Now i get complaints that the Database is much slower than other's. On these other DB's the config is diffrent. Could it be that distributing the Database onto the same four Disk is a performance drawback even though they are striped?
