I tried this, but it didn't work, because the partition is created in the
tablespace defined by the table as a whole.  Also, trying to do an ALTER
TABLE tablename MOVE TABLESPACE new_tablespace yields error ORA-28660,
"partitioned IOT may not be moved as a whole."
