Strange user request on ordering data

I have some users ( no comment!) who would like to purge the data in a
table based on aged and  and then have the remaining data ordered in
the table in  based on a certain column. The only way I can think of
doing this is to create a view over the table with the proper order by
methodology.



Anyone got any good ideas?
