Transition Oracle 8i from one UNIX OS to Another

Any one with experience in transitioning Oracle 8 applications
from one flavour of UNIX (HP-UX 10.20 and 11.0) to other 
flavours of UNIX (AIX, Solaris 8)?



Am looking for advice, pointers on what issues may arise, factors
that can be used to profile the applications to be transitioned,
items to look for to avoid problems.



Also some way to estimate the effort and cost involved in doing so.
