Hi,

I just encountered this dicussion and by chance I needed the TRACE_LEVEL_CLIENT myself not so long ago. There is documentation on this point, I got the information from page C-18 from the Net8 release 8.0.5 For windows NT and Windows 95/98 Getting Started manual in the chapter about understanding the SQLNET.ORA file.
