What "gives" is a hell of a lot of leeway when it comes to people not knowing the basic (read: VERY basic) Oracle data types. Give you a hint: INT ain't one of 'em.
*PLEASE* read a manual. Any manual. I don't really care which one (so long as it isn't the one for DOS 6.2).
And then try "number".
