I agree.

To determine whether Oracle will shut itself down cleanly when UNIX goes down and come up when UNIX reboots look, at least on Solaris and no doubt it is similar with Digital, in /etc/rc2.d for a file beginning with S (usually S99) and one starting with K (usually K01) that startup and kill the Oracle instance.
