Although I'm a bit surprised of what you've said about Sqlnet ... I thought It could possibly come from an inadequate version of the classes...

I don't think it is a network pb . Both configurations are on the same network and have the same transfer speed ... But I will look a bit deeper into it....

Are there some tools I could use for benchmarking Sqlnet accesses ?
