Unable to locate JRE installation Oracle 8.1.1.7 ?

Hi,



I have a machine running WINNT 4.0 Service Pack 3, i am trying to install
Oracle 8.1.1.7 but i keep receiving an error saying that i am missing the
"java Runtime Environment" I have installed the JRE 1.1.8 on the machine but
i still get this error. any ideas?
