Just another little help, If you are on UNIX or AIX, you need to shutdown your listener before you erase the file. The OS will not actually free up the space unless the Listener is shut down. It only takes a few seconds to shut it down, erase the file and then start it backup. Users already connected will not be effected, just those that try to connect while the listener is down.
