Re: oracle with 64 mb ram

• Good bit ** I am running 8.1.7 on my Compaq Armada 1700 with 64M of Ram, great machine! I am Developing DBA queries using PL/SQL (htp) with Toad and testing it using Apache, it works fine, and its fun.
• Bad bit ** OK it's a bit slow compared to my office megadeath machine but it does the job. I too will be upgrading its memory as soon as the price becomes reasonable, ( I had a quote last year of $599 for 128M for my laptop. Which BTW translated into £599 here in the UK; go figure).
