Optimal Storage Configuration Made Easy

First, thanks to Frank Hubney for referencing this article "Optimal Storage
Configuration Made Easy" http://technet.oracle.com/deploy/performance/, and my apologies for making this a separate thread.

I am also looking for opinions regarding this, especially the recommendation
for setting db_file_multiblock_read_count. (Currently on AIX I have this set
to 16 with a 4K db block size, based mostly on Steve Adams readings.)

Anyway, lots of good stuff in this article, especially on disk technology, but would
like more specifics (or examples) on striping, i.e., one stripe set fits all files vs multiple stripe sets vs disk layout with respect to striping.

Thanks in advance.
Roger
