Are you sure that coming back will be the reverse ? Buses tend to have 4 forward gears and one reverse gear, and this could affect your performance significantly. I suggest you turn the bus around and come back forwards.

Also, you should allow extra overheads for security - how do you plan to stop passers-by from boarding your bus illegally ? Checking identities will have some impact on performance at boarding time. Clearly you will also need some extra seats for bouncers who will be employed to eject such passengers. Your estimate of 40 growing to 50 seems a bit optimistic - if you do a good job you will probably find that far more people will want to use the bus service that you had anticipated.
