hi



tried to install 8.1.7 server on a PC running windows 2000 Me
it installed only  the Net Client.



Am i correct to assume that it is assumed that windows 2000 Me will only
be used to run a net client


like SQL plus and that to install Oracle server i need to have Windows
2000 Professional.
