Hello Sybrand!

  Thanks for your answer. I've been inaccurate in my message. Of course I've used 'shutdown immediate'. When I've said 'normal' I implied 'not abort'. During any shutdown (except abort)
SMON has to free all segments from TEMP tablespace. In my case there were too many segments
in TEMP tablespace so SMON has been forced to work long time. I didn't find any workaround.
Creating new temporary tablespace and reassining all users to them new space is useless. As well as setting new TEMP tabspace as permament.
