You don't seem to understand me correctly. I said : this is group is no *replacement* for Oracle Technical Support. As from the nature of this group we will be almost always be unable to resolve official bugs, or we must have run into them ourselves. We would also be unable to provide responses on desupported software as most of using are not using those versions themselves anymore, and it is definitely impossible to keep track of all the differences.

That said, I also think Oracle Technical Support would provide *better* support, and people with a support contract should get in touch with OTS instead of posting here, as they are paying for it. If they are not satisfied with OTS, they should complain. So, I was not using any mandate, it is my opinion, but it looks like you wilfully misunderstood me.
