Hello!
After having installed Oracle 8i 8.1.7 on Windows 2000 I get the error message "ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist" when I try to connect to the database. What does it mean? Have I missed something in the database creation or Oracle installation?

I have done a similar installation on Linux without any problem. That installation works all right.

Both servers have 256 Mb memory.
