Then you take the affected disk out replace it and resilver. meanwhile Oracle is quite happy as the redo is mirrored. (this assumes hardware mirroring)

alternatively you drop the trashed redo log and recreate it so your mirror is once again ok. (Um I think. Thats what disk controllers are for - to do the mirroring for me). Received on Thu Mar 15 2001 - 10:35:15 CST
