Oracle 8.1.7 installation on Linux

Hello,

I try to install Oracle 8.1.7 EE on a Linux System (S.u.S.E. 7.1).

When I run the Oracle Installer I get this error message:

SIGSEGV received in
/.../Disk1/stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/DataFiles/Expanded/linux/ native_threads/libjava.so. Processing terminated

What can be the problem? The JRE? Or maybe the wrong system environment?

Can someone help me?
