You're on the road to hell already.

24x7 and NOARCHIVE? You can't create a backup like that without shutting the database down.

If you want 24x7, you need to be doing hot backups in ARCHIVELOG mode, so read the appropriate chapters in Oracle manual for that.

Also, search the web - there are quite a few hotbackup scripts in circulation, the reading of which will help you become familiar with what you need to do.
