Strange answer. There was no question about Win9x or Win9x programs.
The question was, if "Oracle 8.1.6 for NT" can be installed on a PC with Windows 2000 - not on a PC with Windows 9x.
Usually the 8.1.6 CD's (at least those I have) are labelled "for Win NT/2000" (OR "for Win 98").
I don't know, why it shouldn't work.
