If you've already uninstalled Oracle, that's unfortunate -because the Oracle utility "oradim" can be used to delete Oracle services. The syntax escapes me precisely, but it is something like oradim -delete SERVICENAME (and you just type in the exact name of the service as the SERVICENAME parameter).

If you don't want to reinstall Oracle just to get oradim, it may be time to get hold of the Windows 2000 Resource Kit. I can't speak with any authority on this, but certainly in the NT4 Resource Kit there was a program called something like INSTSRV.EXE which would allow you to delete ANY sort of service. I would imagine (but don't know for certain) that a similar utility is provided with the W2K resource kit.
