Re: Changing TEMP tablespace from type PERMANENT to type TEMPORARY

My 2 cents - take Howard's first suggestion and create a new temporary tablespace, then switch the users sort tablespace to the new one. Since your sort area is permanent, it may have been possible to create something important in there, so I would check what objects are in there.
