hi, i'm hoping someone can answer this for me. i'm running Oracle 8.0.5 on Solaris 5.6 and when i start up the listener. it defaults to look in /var/opt/oracle/listener.ora to find the listener.ora file (not in $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin). i didn't install the database but i can't find anything that points to /var/opt/oracle as the location of the listener. thanks in advance
