To follow responders -- building an FAQ

Gentlemen and ladies:

I was wondering if it is possible to collect some of repeative questions and post something like a FAQ or a set of FAQs on a regular basis. Apparently, a good number of the readers are not very literate in using newsgroups.

A second reason is to discourage double, triple posting due to lack of knowledge if the problem is a tool or server or whatever question.

Are there any rules against this? Or any rules for supporting such an enterprise ( automatic periodic posting, auto email to any new poster, etc )

I agree with many on the responses -- people need to look for the known resources : Oracle manuals, OTN, reference books, and even the archive for this site.

It could be useful to develop a reasonably complete listing of how and where to look.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome!!
