I don't know the delta but it was very small. More a bug fix than anything else as I recall. They can modify their initSID.ora file to be 8.0.5 compatible and then they should have no problem. The parameter is:

COMPATIBLE = 8.0.5 Daniel A. Morgan Received on Sun Jan 21 2001 - 02:46:13 CST
