You don't say what OS you are using, so I'm not exactly sure. On UNIX you can look in the $ORACLE_HOME/dbs directory. The default pfile, or more likely a link to the default pfile, will be in this directory. You can always specify a different pfile on the startup command line, so if you didn't start the database I don't think you can be 100% sure which pfile was used.
