Reverting from 8i client to 8.0.5

I have a W2k client with 8.0.5 client installed in one home and 8i client installed in another home. I need to revert to using 8.0.5. Can someone tell me if it's just a matter of using the Oracle Home selector to change default home back to the 8.0.5 client.

I'm doing this to make sure that an ODBC driver uses the 8.0.5 client.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
