Re: Replicated Database Backup and Recovery

We have multi master replication setup and if we lost one server completely i.e.
leading to an incomplete recovery scenario we would restore as follows:

• make remaining database the master definition site
• remove all repgroups
• users will use this database
• make cold backup of "good" database and "clone it" to remote site. users can continue to use "good" database
• shutdown both databases and apply interimarchive logs to "new" database
• Setup replication again - scripts shud be ready for this
