Oracle, ships with its own runtime. No need to download IBMs. Uncompress/untar the oracle tar.gz onto your hard drive, set all the environmental variables, and run the ./installer

I'm guessing you downloaded oracle, uncompressed, and created a CD and are trying to install from the CD, right?
