Within the last month, I've built myself a new home PC. I think/hope that I've solved this PC's backup issues by buying a motherboard with a built-in RAID controller and by mirroring (RAID-1) a pair of 45GB disks. The Raid controller was about $25 (US) more than the non-Raid version & the disks were $189 each. Ideally for about just over $200 I don't have to worry about backing up Oracle or anything else.
