Missing oraInventory

Someone has inadvertently removed the oraInventory directory from my
Oracle Server. Wwh I try to run the installer to install another prduct
from the Oracle Installer CD, it thinks that none of the existing
components are installed. Is there a way to re-contruct the
oraInventory ?
