Oracle8 version compatibility with Windows 2000

I have the following hardware/software setup in my network:

System 1 : Windows 2000 Professional running Oracle 8.0.5.0 Client.
System 2 : Windows NT4 Workstation running Oracle 8.0.5.0 Client.
System 3 : Windows 2000 Server running Oracle 8i Enterprise database.





I am able to establish Net8 connection to System 3 from System 2 but
unable to do so from System 1.



Is this a version compatibility issue.
