Thanks David,
this is what I've already done, but this is only a bad workaround.
Well the database is really slow and I have lots of waitstates in the
cpu, so I ask myself if there is something wrong with the oracle
database on solaris 8.
Perhaps I need some patches for Solaris, do you know which one I could need to get Oracle run properly?
