Music.com, Inc. (www.music.com) is looking for a full-time, mid- to senior-level Unix System Administrator (Solaris) to manage 6+ SUN servers in our NYC production environment. Two to four years experience plus applicable working knowledge of Oracle, Veritas, Apache and Netscape Enterprise Server required. Experience with ATG Dynamo, Cisco switches/routers, Checkpoint firewall and Alteon/F5 a BIG plus.

Qualified candidates must also have experience in large network settings specific to the Internet. Must be familiar with Veritas, TCP/IP, Perl, HTML, Apache, Netscape Enterprise Server, Oracle 8.x, network security conventions, SUN/Cisco hardware. Experience with ATG Dynamo or Checkpoint installation a BIG plus. Must have 4+ years UNIX experience with Solaris. Candidates should have 2 plus years experience in an Internet environment. ISP experience would be most helpful. Strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
