after renaming protocol.ora to .protocol.ora and removing wildcarsd from INVITED_NODES parameter I tried to restart listener and got a large bunch of errors. It lokks like that doesn't work at all?

Does anybody have workaround ?

protocol.ora contents:
tcp.invited_nodes= (db.foobar.com, develeoper.foobar.com) tcp.validnode_checking=yes

TIA
Aram
