Without having the *exact* error code, IMO, this is a sqlnet issue, it is *not* an Oracle issue. To enable sqlnet tracing, change sqlnet.ora and add
trace_level_client=16
trace_unique_client=true
This will results in sqlnet<xx>.trc files in your current directory, usually %ORACLE_HOME%\bin.
