Well, seems you do not like Service Packs. But maybe its the reason: Have you installed any SP BEFORE your desaster ? If so, try to install the same Service Pack
again. It will replace many DLL´s to the version you need on your comp. If you hav no
Service Pack jet, try it with the newest one, SP6a or with SP5. I often have seen such
problems be fixed with that.

The other thing is, reinstall your Modem ! (Like posted before...)
